It's just so raw, honest and emotional to me. Those painter/sculptor lyrics really heighten the emotional punch and it happens to apply to feelings I sometimes heavily relate to (feeling inadequate helping in any way or being able to show the depths of my love and gratitude in my worst moments), and the mixed signals of "If you love me/Set me...FREE" on the album version don't really make sense after listening to her emotional appeal to somebody she loves deeply to keep believing in her as they are her light and she's doing everything in her power to be the same for them. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

So either way we won't ever get ARTPOP II the way many of you wanted. I’m a huge ARTPOP stan, and would love Act II only because I lived for the original concept and don’t really care if it would be a GP success or not. And I will take whatever it is, whenever it happens, if it happens. But tbh…. I also already have the majority of what we knew about it from the demos too so I’m not feverish about wanting it. And I’m not sure why people act like ARTPOP is such a flop when it actually did commercially well, just not as well as her prior records. I will always get hyped for rumors of a potential Act 2. The only thing annoying about a potential Act 2 is when people make it their personality to rail against it or to demand it. Like can we all just stfu and enjoy the music for what it is sometimes? It’s genuinely a good thing that all her albums have some appreciation from the fanbase.
