There are also some Confessions remarks, like the ending of I Feel So Free sounds like Future Lovers and when Bizarre ends I often think that How High might start afterwards. All in one this is really a great album! Yes, I Feel So Free definitely has the same I Feel Love vibe as Future Lovers. I'm surprised it's not credited as an official sample, actually. Hearing some American Life in the Good for the Soul verses, some Music in the vocal distortions of Fragile... Ugh, this is all so good. It's like she took the best from her best albums and mixed it all together. 2

That's amazing Also co-wrote a lot of her 80s hits including Live to Tell, Papa Dont Preach & Like a Prayer. And did the production on tracks like Open Your Heart. He was the 80s Stuart Price. Now I am confused because in the post it talks about the 40th anniversary.

At the end of the day, it all leads back to Madonna so I think every opinion is valid here. I feel Fragile is more in the Music vein, with a touch of MDNA (yup). It’s a bit like Masterpiece by way of Nobody’s Perfect. As for GFTS, to me it’s the obvious little sister to Die Another Day.
RAMROD 117,063
They need to re-release this in the lenticular packaging, except in Vinyl too this time. My lenticular ROL CD is feeling lonely. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ ᶠʳᵒⁿᵗ ᵗᵒʷᵃʳᵈ ᵉⁿᵉᵐʸ (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡

Is it the strings that make you think of DAD? Because other than that, the garage drums, the cosmic lyricism, the new age ambient electronic feel are just dead on ROL. The song that gives me Music the most is probably Everything tbh, with the dissonant verse vocals, punchy/grungy abrasive techno breakdown. But like you said, I think the beauty of the record is how seamlessly they’ve woven so many elements of the myriad sounds Madonna has explored over the years into the songs that also feel singular in their own right.
