I saw a tweet the other day how to prevent the album from debuting with over 80 million first day-streams, because the first six places on that list are all Taylor Swift albums and that fan (and an alarmingly high number of comments) wanted the "folklore barrier" to last. One of the points was to report profiles from Olivia fans on Spotify...

this is dosgusting behaviour. I’m increasingly embarrassed that I was even casually into Taylor Swift.

Really great album imo, she and Dan have a great ear for melodies and hooks, something I've missed from the last few Taylor albums tbh. Love the more upbeat 80s jangle pop tunes and the ballads are great.

As I'm not a fan, I think I've never played a song of hers on my own - but somehow I recieved an e-mail today like it was from her, I mean, it didn't even look like her music label

I still do not know how they got my e-mail as I don't subscribe to such things

Unless I manually subscribed, only a handful like Gaga, Kanye and perhaps Billie

It sounds illegal honestly in terms of GDPR. I check my mail a lot, and I can't think of other times this happened

 

Sooo I'm not surprised, they apparently wanted good numbers and made possibly illegal choices to get there

To be fair Twitter fans (of any artist) are a different breed. Most taylor fans I know don't like them lol
