There’s no outfits or looks I think she especially looked bad in 

but I think for a long time there was a period where her hair and makeup looked a little wild in combination with too much fillers on the jaw and cheekbone and I hate to say this but most of the looks I’m mentioning were after Sara became her makeup artist.

it was normally due to a very flat hairstyle and overdone brows with very dark makeup.

I must be blind because I genuinely like this look. The photo is overly retouched but it feels like a good BTW throwback without being too much of a literal cosplay.

The makeup is more or less on-brand for the BTW era

The wig looks so crusty and for lack of a better term too "wiggy" and the makeup is so messy too, it looks nothing like anything from the BTW era at all.

I mean, not to be shady, but aren't "wiggy" and "messy" part of the BTW aesthetic?

It was an amazing era visually but it certainly isn't know for its polished look.

I guess so but the from the Haus Labs picture is *too* wiggy to me tbh and the makeup was cleaner during the BTW era overall, especially in the Judas video and she looked quite put together still.

If anything it's the lighting that's the issue, because Gaga has rocked microbangs like this tons of times. But the lights are throwing an extremely straight shadow under them which almost looks like the edge of a wig cap.
