Mirrion Rizzons 12,684
The one positive of this is that he'll knock old ass songs off the bbh100 and make them go recurrent

StrawberryBlond 15,565
I'm genuinely shocked at this move. I thought we'd seen it all when it came to unique album releases. I can see the vision - it makes maximum impact, generates headlines, floods the charts with tons of new songs, keeps the fans fed, means you don't have to work for years if you want. From Drake's personal perspective, it also rubs it in Kendrick's face that he can't be silenced or cancelled. But I doubt the actual long-term success of this. We're talking 43 tracks covering 2.5 hours. Its overstimulated the fans, they'll consume it at all different times and levels, some may not even bother listening to them all if they didn't like the first one. As we can see from the initial streams, Iceman is leading the charge, Maid of Honour isn't doing anywhere near as good and Habibti is flopping, which is exactly the way I thought it would be as that's the order they were released in, so the success trickled down chronologically. Honestly, I feel like outside his fanbase, Drake songs don't make any impact now. They kinda stopped during that post-pandemic, Certified Lover Boy era. He'll do the numbers but the world at large ultimately doesn't care. And releasing like this won't help his case. It'll confuse stockists and radio, that's for sure. That concert was incredible and felt relevant and big. I don’t know how anyone would think that is us being short changed over releasing more generic crap
