The producer was looking for a girl who can switch between Rock and Pop. So yeah he had a vision (even he is a pos). Gaga was more into Glam Rock but her style wasn’t refined yet. Lina was more into emo rock scene. I mean even your fav artists like Bowie or Madonna were not fully aware of what they would become artistically. It’s hard for artists to build a brand by their own. I think that Lady Starlight deserves some credits too (Gaga thanked her last year at the Iheart awards). And RedOne deserves some respect too. He helped her to solidify her concepts and her signature sound of her debuts. Gaga said that he was the first producer not trying to touch or do anything to her after she left her Catholics college. There's a good reason why she wrote Shadow of a Man : it’s hard to have a place in this industry dominated by men. Finally someone who do not tell bs and speak about this topic like an adult.
