Bit underwhelming knowing she has a much bigger chart power and relevance in the UK. First solo song this decade doesn't mean much either, considering she didn't really release anything solo except that horrid Italian song for D&G. But oh well. The song slaps and it's not released with a commercial agenda at all - there's no promotion.

Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something?

In the UK a lot of our exposure still comes from radio and sadly a lot of radio has blacklisted her because of her age. Back during the Rebel Heart era Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1 outrightly said it was because she was seen as too old. So they haven’t playlisted her music on major UK radio since.

That sucks big time. I always thought unlike the US, female artists past 40 have an easier time there (Kylie, for instance)  - seems like they only have a so called later expiration date. Disappointing.

It honestly all depends on your history BEYOND music in the UK, Kylie is beloved as a person where as Madonna isn’t. Take Gaga for example, her tackling of the COVID 19 pandemic and Rain on Me coming out at its peak is a big reason she has good “social standing” in the UK in the 2020s. Before that we were only talking about whether or not she was about to be “a home wrecker” during ASIB when the media was pushing that she was secretly dating Bradley Cooper.

In the UK the public are VERY easily swayed by the media because we’re such a small country. And Madonna’s narrative before Rebel Heart was “she’s old and keeps acting like a 20 year old and is wrinkly and showing her body off” and then her BRITs performance made headlines and raises the “is she too old to be performing like this still?” question. Then the same week radio refused to play Living for Love BECAUSE of her age specifically. And I’m not a Madonna fan by any means BUT I think her age being a reason is ridiculous.

Female artists over here over 40 CAN still be respected but only if you “tone it down” hence why Kylie’s loved here because she is more demure fashion and personality wise and her public standing has been great since her cancer diagnosis. I know that sounds odd but it’s the truth. Same reason Ariana’s social standing has been good since the attack on her concert.

She has a good following here but the reality is this was a song that I don't think she even posted got released lol because it came out the same time she performed with Sabrina.

Like its getting zero promotion outside of dedicated Madonna sites & pop culture forum discussions. The fact it charted at all is surprising.
