REALITY 80,162 Posted July 4 Share Posted July 4 (edited) I'm honestly so gagged that Kennedy's gone. I thought she was for sure going to win the season. And truthfully, even if they "Gingered" her, it'd be much more warranted. But tbf, she was one of the worst in the challenge, and A'keria won that lip sync. So I think her elimination was justified. I'm kind of at a loss for who's going to win now. I'm like 60% sure it's Crystal, and I would love that. I've been rooting for her since the cast announcement and I thought she was going to be Top 2 with Kennedy. But the judges clearly love Silky, so I could see her taking it too. As for this challenge...girl, it was a mess. The "What would you say to your younger self?" segments are almost always cringey, so idk why they'd make an entire challenge out of it. I thought Joey was the clear winner because her story was good and she was genuinely funny. However, Crystal was 2nd place for me, so I'm not mad that she won. She also had the best runway. Contrary to what I've seen people say on Twitter/Reddit, I don't think they're pushing Crystal. She rightfully won the challenges in her bracket, and I think she was a deserving winner here too. Joey should have 3 challenge wins, though. This + the design & rapping roast ones. Idk what else she was to do to be rewarded atp. Shoked by the results, because to me they were even and I thought they would give it to Kennedy seeing her legendary status, but I'm happy for Akeria. Crystal was deserving of the win, though. Joey was my favorite, but Crystal was the next best imo. I think the reason why she won over Joey is because her story felt more cohesive. It felt more polished, conceptualized, and the actual "advice" part of the challenge—which was the main part—seemed more sincere. Joey's was definitely the most entertaining one though. I actually looked at it and thought how beautiful she looked even despite the fatphobic hater’s manipulations of the original image. And it really resonated with me as a fat person that an outfit that cool and avant garde looked good even on the ‘ugly’ body they tried to give her - how empowering to those who actually have bodies like that. Now imagine the earthquake when the wild card enters and it stomps the first challenge after merge. It would not only show that Ru and Michelle have a good taste but also give the deserved glory moment to Joey.
