Good. I had classmates vaping in middle of classes, and while it smelled great, it’s as bad as a normal cigarette soo

Vaping is not ‘just as bad’ as smoking cigarettes, its way worse.

This will last for about 5 minutes before collapsing.

It comes with no extra funding to enforce the ban or prevent illegal trading.
The inevitable consequence will be the expansion of the existing black market for tobacco products which will increase gang activity, further stretch policing resources, increase demands on the health service through the sale of more dangerous unregulated products and cut tax reciepts while creating a growing need for government spending.

Yeah, I also think it is not as smart as everyone thinks. Banning anything like that will just create a huge black market, and the product won’t necessarily be as much controlled as before, so seems only good on paper.

Confused about all the likes and yaas reactions. Prohibition doesn't work, it's been shown again and again. I thought GGD was smarter than this.

The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic!

it's been known to negatively impact developing brains and the fact it has no lingering smell makes it miles harder to know if your child is using, unlike a cigarette where it's very obvious

mother, what must i do?

It's a shame too. We currently have the lowest smoking rates of any adult generation since we've been keeping track of that sort of thing.

The resurgence of smoking is due to influencers making it seem cool again and just how stressful it is to be a young person these days, and cigarettes carry this ridiculous "stress reducer" label.

It'll take another cultural/societal push to fight against that. Prohibition laws will only be counterproductive.

God forbid it's anything like alcohol prohibition or the war on drugs in the US which only had the consequence of empowering criminal organizations and throwing working class people in prison.

it's populist. see the anti-vape comments.

If symptom persists, consult your doctor.
