HIGHLY underrated song and honestly whole album. people dont give them credit enough for basically coming up with the concept of audiovisual albums/films since 2009. (i love this synth emulation, very very 80's) oh you have musical knowledge ! actually the risers (if youre referring to the ones im thinking about) are from the demo version I made using the shitty garageband synths haha. you can find the same preset on Grimes 'avi' and ionnalee's 'Mysteries of Love' – I reluctantly kept it cause it was 2 amateurish but I'm glad you liked it !! and it's all Logic synths actually. I made it as a birthday present in like 2 days but when putting the album tracklist together I thought it needed something poppy/straightforward that was not the singles so I recycled this one. but talking about mars I did sample astronauts talking about a strange sound in the opening track as if the whole album is a transmission from somewhere else. it has a lot of lore behind these songs but this comment is long enough already Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
