This is such a pet peeve of mine  

The whole urban legend of "your brain isn't fully developed until you're 25" came about 'cause they literally just didn't study anyone older than 25 in that one particular study.

In the latest studies, 32 is actually considered the tail end of "brain adolescence" and even then, the brain retains its plasticity and adaptability (barring disease or trauma) until your 70s where it begins to degrade due to age 

So the real lesson here is we should be sending 70+ year olds to war instead

It's a federalisation of the SSS, forcing automatic registration onto all 50 states. 

That's absolutely an automatic military draft, as you can no longer avoid it in any state. This system will automatically enroll you.

If you’re a male above the age of 18 then you have already done this. 

This is not a new thing. All this is is making it an automated process instead of what we had to do which was remember to do it by hand when we turned 18 or do it in school when we’re seniors (which is how I did it). 

If you’re over 18 already this does not apply to you because you have already signed up for selective service.
