Just because you grew up within a culture where this kind of cheer is common, you cannot expect everyone in the world to know about it. That's far more ignorant than what Sabrina Carpenter did. Even if you find it hard to believe or even impossible that someone doesn't recognize the cheer, reality doesn't bend to your narrow view.

I did not and ok you made your point. I wasnt offending, directly no One and you actually are on the offense. No Need tò talk like that

Niche?? Have you never seen like some wedding ceremony or other gatherings when music hits and they start calling??:cryga:. Its such a common thing. Even in movies, if they represent an islamic woman theyll do that for sure ahah. Common i find It hard tò believe

In the West, it doesn't happen. I've never been to a Muslim wedding or been out to the middle East where it's obviously more common. Belly dancing circles and Shakira's Superbowl moment is the only times I've heard it. Not heard it in movies either. If you're part of a certain culture, it's normalised to you but anyone outside of it will be wholly unaware. Sabrina definitely found it weird to hear it during a quiet moment at the piano which is the last place I'd expect to hear a zaghrouta, seeing as it's usually during something more lively.

I think it suddenly blew out of proportion. The appologize was nice of her and probably all she needed to do about it, but I think that's about it.

I saw the livestream and literally thought it was a normal yodel when I heard it, which, to each their own, she thought was didn't like and, she was in the piano section, so I guess she didn't want it haha.. anyways, i also think she could've missheard or enterily missed the last part as she kept on performing or just missinterpreted it as others mentioned, tbf it's a concert, it was just a yodel and the person who did it was just trying to get her attention

Does anyone have any thoughts on a US naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz? I love Sabrina Carpenter. I think she’s a really interesting artist.

We have forgotten our public MANNERS
