Anyone tried out this game? 

I will play it later when I'm back home, but from what I see on X, it seems likea lot of people are complaining (30 fps on Switch2, poor graphics, Glitches, only 186 Pokémon)

I haven't. It is battle forward, so not likely my kind of game. I only got to ranked in LZA for the mega stones, and now that there's no more new stones, I never been anymore

Genuinely how and why do they keep doing this
they have to get off on being dragged at this point

This is supposed to replace Scarlet and Violet in the competitive scene too

ILCA, the co-developers of this game, seems to just be able to break the Pokemon games in really weird ways that make no sense. Like, Mega evolutions now happened before switching out, and now it seems like Speed stat doesn't dictate the order - now, whoever locks in their turn inputs first gets priority for Mega Evolving. 

Also, locking Box Space behind a paywall. You arguably don't need more than the 30 if you just keep swapping out pokemon between Champions and Home, but that's still annoying. The menuing and UI feels clunky too and that just turns me off so hard. It's 2011+15, you're the biggest franchise in the world, c'mon now. Get it together. 

I actually don't mind the small pool of Pokemon, rotation for competitive is fine. The lack of so many items is disappointing.
