This is honestly hilarious. Iran comes out with more than it had before this war. Effectively, aside from all the death, the only thing Trump actually accomplished was pushing the world towards an energy crisis and burning the last bit of good will the US had with allies that'll now be desperate to end their reliance on us

Iran has had a religious doctrine in place since 2004 that prevented them from building nuclear weapons anyway but now? With the new, more radical leader and a nation with millions of people who all have a renewed hatred for the US and Israel?

I don't think Trump or Israel or anyone else really appreciates the absolute chaos that'll come about if a nation of 90 million people becomes a failed state. That's not even to mention the immediate retaliation from Iran to its neighbors which is, honestly, the only card they have so why wouldn't they play it?

If Trump truly does pull the trigger on this actual war crime it will change the world for years to come.

I thought Trump would never win in 2016 and it was all essentially a joke, I was 18 and in high school. The day after the election felt like it wasn't real, it was so grim. I never thought it would be this bad either though. Not to the extent that his entire party would enable him, let him get away with the pandemic, or Jan 6th. When he won this time I feel like there was some copium. That news always fearmongers and that maybe MAGA just felt the way we did when Biden won and it was all just exaggerated. And here we are...

When Democrats take the house and senate (both are looking more and more likely as time goes on) they'll for sure impeach him but they'll need 67 votes in the senate to remove him from office. I wonder how much this all played into the removal of Bondi and Noem. Removing them and immediately nominating new cabinet members. If those positions had been left completely vacant for a few days the threshold for a majority of cabinet members to invoke the 25th would have been lower.

I would like this to be true but we all thought that after COVID and Jan6. We need to enter a depression to dissolve the tension caused by the polarization. Unless someone can unite Americans again and give Americans common ground, I feel we'll continue on a wave of extremism. As far as I can think our only options are World War 3 and the loss of a lot of American lives, a civil war, or a big economic depression.
