Our first disagreement started on that thread where we both had different goalposts for where our arguments were going and what our points were, and we were both arguing completely different stuff, as you were talking about how Addison's performance shouldn't be excused, Britney can't be compared to Addison or that praising Addison is like lowering the bar as you don't see the potential, and I was just pointing out that I was only alluding to the teacher/student relationship with Britney, and all of the performance/vocal issues etc. came second as my main point wasn't that, and I actually made myself very clear on how I agree with some of your points about Addison's performance and vocals, but there are also some criticisms that were made to Addison that can be applied to Britney, especially when she was coming through, which was the main motivator of my initial comment in that thread in the first place, but as I said, people took it as I was talking about Addison as a rising pop icon or like the second coming of Britney or as if I was bringing Addison up to Britney's level which I wasn't, I already conceeded to some of the stuff you said there but as I'm saying for the hundredth time, that wasn't my point when making that comment, and we both had different stuff in our minds when arguing about it.

Then I come on this thread and say the exact same stuff I said word for word in that thread here again except you're coming up to me and saying that I fought tooth and nail over her performance and excusing it and lowering the bar etc. when our whole argument was about the fact that my point wasn't about her performance and comparing/contrasting but the relationship between the 2 artists and their similiarities and the similiarities in especially the criticism they receive especially when Addison is a new artist.

TL;DR: You misunderstood me initially, I explained myself, then days later I made the exact same comments and you said that I'm contradicting myself or I've seen the light or I fought tooth and nail to excuse Addison's artistry when this was your initial misunderstandment in the first place and I explained how that was not the case except here we are discussing the same thing except I'm being condescending, pedantic, defensive, my argument is being tone policed and there are huge sways of bulverism, deflection, ad hominem and strawman arguments involved. Any actual discussion is shut down with ''Thank you for admitting Addison is a shitty performer mwah!''

Mind you, you're talking about praising Addison's performance when the only comment I made about her performance was that she can't perform or dance like Britney and that she has an unstable voice, but that she is a new artist so we need to give her some time. It's okay if you don't see her going anywhere, though, but that's not my main point at all, not here or when I was talking about it there. We both agreed on that.
