I think that with the next album they might want to be more careful about the release timing. With Abra, for example, we didn’t get higher chart positions because we tried to take advantage of the Grammys hype but didn’t have a full tracking week. They might also want to coordinate the release of physical formats with the lead single to boost sales and aim for overall higher chart placements than MAYHEM.

This, combined with a stadium tour, could really strengthen the era. Maybe that’s just how I imagine the next era in my head, but in my opinion, making Gaga’s image feel even more legacy-driven would look something like this.

Tbh I think the trade off was worth it tho

As time goes by, Gaga is getting farther away from that young demographic that influences what gets big in pop music. And as we saw with Mayhem, her core base doesn’t buy music anymore. I have to wonder how much DWAS actually pushed the album sales up, cause if it was a lot, it’s not a good sign for the next album. Unless the collab with The Weeknd is the “lead” single

Yeah, the super LQ snippet of the leaked scene doesn’t indicate much of anything, BUT the Sunroof leaks were a lot better quality, so it’s safe to kinda judge the song but not entirely as only like, what 30 seconds of the song leaked? We have enough to gauge our expectations but not enough to form a proper opinion tbh
