I mean, at worst, it’s a bit tone deaf, but honestly I think it’s hysterically self-centered in a way that an old school diva could only be. “Alysa Liu won gold! She skated to my song once and is Chinese, here’s an anecdote about random Chinese people I knew growing up.” It’s not offensive as much as it is absurd and camp lol.

I saw this new doctor…a woman doctor…I remember when women couldn’t vote, much less be doctors…as for the Chinamen? I never had much of an issue with them so long as they stayed on their side of neighborhood…their food is good, can’t eat it much of it now due to the diabetes…anyway the Chinawoman doctor said I qualified for Ozempic and that my VA insurance would cover it, so hopefully that helps with the insulin management. I remember when they first distilled insulin medicinally and-
