Well, I cried  I'm happy for Benito and I can't wait for his super bowl show   I hope all the racists and xenophobes continue to seethe. 

So proud of Gaga and MAYHEM   My favorite album of the year. It makes me happy every time I listen to it, and I'm glad it was still recognized for the amazing music it is.

As a Latino in the US in these times seeing him do this is just incredible. 

When I listened to DTMF at first I didn’t vibe too much but after a few listens it quickly became one of my favorites from him. 

Can’t wait to see what he’ll do at the Super Bowl!! 

The speech in Spanish is just the cherry on top. 

I don't listen to him directly myself but I have a coworker that basically blows through his entire discography every Friday and Saturday morning before we open the doors. I bop a bit  coworker's Dominican and says he wants to connect me to my Puerto Rican roots

But more importantly, he seems to be a genuinely good dude so...deserved!

On a serious note I don't think gaga's ethics and humility get brought up enough, imagine being in this industry for almost 2 decades with established legacy and undeniabl impact with no general field awards to her name when nowadays they practically hand them out left and right, while consistently showing up and advocating for her peers and this applies to the Oscars as well (she went to present while not getting a nom for HOG) 

She has always had that old school air about her I guess that translates to the way her peers view her as well, like when you hear about how most of the legends that we love today basically having little to none major awards compared to their talent and actual impact.
