I meant the political statement that him winning creates. Also, if we're talking quality, SEVERAL spanish language albums should've won before, it is a political statement, and that's not wrong. If you think making a political statement out of an award has a negative connotation, that's on you my friend.

I'm going to say this even though it may be controversial, AND I want to clarify that I'm a fan of ALL three artists. But I get really tired of the Grammys acting like the universe fell out of Beyonce's, Taylor's, and Billie's asses. Yes, they're incredibly talented, but a lot more deserving artists have yet to be recognized while the Grammys keep throwing awards at these three.

Sorry, but no one can tell me that any of the GF winners had more impact worldwide than Mayhem and miss Abra. Kendrick is local AF, Bad Bunny is just US and Spanish speaking countries, Billie shouldn’t even have been nominated since this version of the song was already eligible last year but since she didnt win and released it as a single it was (Joanna Piano version was at least a new version). And also, Cowboy Carter was was less deserving than Mayhem. So WTF
