USA radioactively contaminated a part of Greenland in 1968 and Denmark was accomplice

The greatest danger to Greenland is neither Russia nor China... but the USA.

In 1968, Greenland was contaminated with radioactivity when a US military aircraft carrying nuclear weapons crashed. The crash resulted in a leak of radioactive material, contaminating the area. 3 of 4 nuclear bombs were found, while the fourth was not found.

Initially, Denmark had forbidden the USA from stationing nuclear weapons in Greenland and flying them over Greenland, as well as in and over Denmark itself. However, it turned out that the Danish government had lied to the world, as it had made a secret deal with the USA that allowed it, while leading Greenlanders to believe that there were no nuclear weapons on and above their territory.

"Danish officials initially portrayed the flight as an isolated emergency, but later declassified records showed the missions had been quietly approved despite public denials. The truth remained hidden for decades, until a 1995 investigation triggered a political scandal known as Thulegate, revealing secret government authorization and sparking public outrage."

The US also stored nuclear weapons underground in Greenland, and the Danes only made this public 36 years later.

Should remilitarization now occur, it poses a significant risk because the law of probability inevitably leads to the eventuality of a nuclear plane crashing or an atomic bomb detonating in some other way. Precisely because Greenland is peripheral, sparsely populated, and remote, the USA has a reason to use it with evil intentions, just as they exploit Alaska, which is similar and equally heavily armed, alongside with Guam, Okinawa, Hawaii and soon Greenland again.

Should small military bases, as in Cyprus, gain sovereignty, the Danish government will be completely powerless to prevent it; it cannot prevent it even if they are not sovereign.

Therefore, I suggest Greenland should absolutely not agree and should not allow itself to be taken advantage of by Denmark, because Denmark is cheating on Greenland just as the USA is. Instead, it should terminate the post-WWII treaty and leave it at one US military base. The more you have, the more cheating will occur, the more you will be betrayed. There was no war when it was heavily armed, and no war when it only had one. The heavy armament only serves to enrich the arms industry.

So I just wanted to show an opinion that the defense of NATO comes at the expense of Greenland.
