Disagree. This is not American Music Awards. Performing at the Grammy Awards does not guarantee a win. While there is a strong correlation between performing and winning often described as having a 50% chance or better, it is not a guarantee. Beyonce won without performing last year, neither Lana Del Rey, Steely Dan, and more.

Not true. Multiple artists have won without performing or showing up and we know Gaga is going considering how she screamed “we’re going to the grammys” at the Amsterdam show after nominations came out. 
 

besides if we go by Grammy trends, the pop categories are alternated between years. Last two years Pop Vocal Album was shown on the broadcast so it’s likely this year they will favor Best Pop Solo (a category that hasn’t appeared in years and where Sabrina was leading either way). Gaga’s strongest categories: Best Pop Vocal and Best Pop Dance Recording are most likely not going to be televised so her performing wouldn’t really matter
