It's nice, her singing feels weak on this one compared two WYP and TFG though. She sounds like she's doing chores elegantly on this one.

Mhm, I think I get what you're saying, I also think it's somewhat deliberate. I listened to an interview yesterday, where she said that in the past she set the bar a little too high in the studio with certain songs, so when she then went on the road some weren't sustainable to sing night after night. I very much assume the voice is still there, gonna see her in concert this fall and am happy to report 🤗

Automatic is cute, but Sauna was the only keeper for me this time around

need to listen to this more and to appreciate it fully start to finish, including the singles again

initial thought is that the production and vocals are lush. I don’t think there’s a track that grabs me by the p word as much as Spotlight, Remember Where You Are or Begin Again

unlike That! Feels Good, I don’t think there’s any flop songs and I’m loving the live instrumentation, this is camp as t*ts

I gave it a listen earlier and I can’t wait to listen again. Everything is so smooth and elegant. It’s completely within her style and a very solid album :golfclap:

An early listen makes me think that between her last 3 albums this one feels like the "weakest" but-- oh my god I was FLOORED with "Don't You Know Who I Am?" I'm so obssesed with it that I didn't even finish the rest of the album yet.

I liked most of the songs and for sure will revisit it again. Ride and I Could Get Used to This are gems

After her last 2 albums, this one left me a little cold. Ride was the only single I truly liked and that didn't grow on me until last night. Sauna, Mr Valentine and Mon Amour were decent but the only other track that went above average was 16 Summers. As much as this disco/soul thing suits her, I don't know if she's exhausting it a bit so she's losing the inspiration? I want to hear bops like That! Feels Good! and Freak Me Now again, which I think are right up there with some of her best ever works.
