RAMROD 116,995
Plastic surgeons are now using fat harvested from dead people in a controversial new procedure. From face lifts and tummy tucks to lip fillers and Brazilian butt lifts, cosmetic procedures have become increasingly normalised, with millions of people worldwide going under the knife or needle each year to alter their appearance. But this latest development in the beauty field might be the most bizarre yet. Known as alloClae, the trending product is manufactured by biomedical sciencebusiness Tiger Aesthetics. Despite its disturbing origins and expensive price tag from $10,000 up to $100,000, alloClae has become a popular option within plastic surgery proceduresdue to its shorter recovery times and absence of anaesthesia. In the past, plastic surgeons have relied on implants or siphoning fat from another section of the body to perform body contouring. But alloClae has allowed a more flexible option that's growing in demand. https://www.uniladtech.com/science/plastic-surgeons-using-fat-from-dead-people-new-procedure-517457-20260113 (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ ᶠʳᵒⁿᵗ ᵗᵒʷᵃʳᵈ ᵉⁿᵉᵐʸ (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡ 1

Ashley 10,236
“Typically, organs from organ donors are allocated to transplantation or medical research. Simultaneously, tissue banks collect fat cells from deceased donors' abdominal areas, which Tiger Aesthetics then purchases and processes into alloClae.” Wanted to see how it works so I read the article. Organ donation is wonderful and life-saving, but I had no idea other parts of your body could be purchased like that. It seems wrong that a plastic surgery company can profit off your body after you’re dead.

But this is a little....vulture like. The gays know how to party

Helxig 45,330
That's absolutely disgusting Spoiler Actually I have always wanted fat transfer for my undereyes and it's the one procedure I'd save for and 100% have done immediately.. except I have multiple lipomatosis which means I grow fat-tumours so transferring fat isn't possible for me.. so you know what.. maybe I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. I'm pretty sure what they're all flustering around is actually that they harvest stem cells from the foreskins to use for cosmetic purposes (stem cells are magical cells that can regenerate skin and turn into any other cells so they basically regenerate the collagen and elastin making it more youthful) I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. Kayioshka 3,294
Ethically this is just bad. Even if the dead body is no longer sacred in the Abrahamic way, it's still sacred because of the human dignity. The dead person accept to give their bodies to save lives. In a way, yes the surgery procedure will be less tiring for the person who's going through... But, lifting is popular, it's trendy, how many dead bodies will be used for these kind of procedures if It's becoming a singular use. I mean it's a temporary procedure. How many dead ppl's bodies will be used for that. In my peace era.
