the funk version of fever is superior

let love down is alright but not that bitch

fancy pants should’ve been considered for the fame and needed better verse lyrics

her look back then was so cool and should be resurrected

wundaland is beautiful, but the “1 2 3 4 5 67, close ur eyes count to 11” is dumb and the seven part feels a bit clunky

the whole thing is one of her best bodies of unreleased material (take that artpop act ii!)

No.

I will give you that Fever is a great song that she should have kept and not given to Adam Lambert. However, there are only three other unreleased songs that should have seen the light of day. Honest Eyes, Brooklyn Nights and Future Love. All the rest should sashay away.

My biggest kicker with Brooklyn Nights is how auto tuned and edited her voice is, I know for some reason because of internal pressure to recapture her old magic she tried to replicate her old “girly falsetto” style on a lot of demos for ARTPOP. I hope someday she re-records it with her current unedited vocals.

I think Princess Die would never have worked as a released track. It is after all about suic*de and I can already imagine  the backlash about comparing herself to Diana lmao. I also NEVER understood how she said they were gonna rework it into a dance song back in the day :rip:

Nothin’ On is a great song and deserved an official release, but too bad she made it back when she was adamant about only releasing songs she herself wrote. The decision to sell it to Addison Rae was diabolical, her version sounds like a demo of the demo lmao

No Way is her best unreleased song for me,  I want her to work with Garibay again but I doubt she ever will because she has barely even so much as mentioned him since 2012

Not necessarily entirely related but I hate that she NEVER returns a collab, like why isn’t she on an Ariana song or a Florence song, like WHY was she not on Zedd’s album that dropped just after ARTPOP- besides the one leaked song Hallelujah which was probably for his album i imagine

I was so devastated because of all the hate that Hallelujah received. It was my favorite unreleased gem and seeing all the hate that it got made me sad.

Text U Pictures is a cute song, too.

People don’t talk about Photograph enough. Especially since part of Photograph was recycled in an ARTPOP demo.

"PARTYNAUSEOUS" was ahead of its time and would fit so nicely in this day and age of hyperpop/electro music.

Gaga made the right choice going with MJH over Brooklyn Mid.

Overall, I prefer most of her pre-Fame unreleased songs to the actual songs on The Fame. Actually, back in 2010 when I started getting into her, I quickly discovered all her pre-Fame stuff and was obsessed with it, way more than her Gaga albums.

Electric Kiss is one of her best unreleased songs, and I wish we had the studio version, and that she would make more songs like this. Pure raw energy.

It's a crime that Fooled me again wasn't added to The Fame, that would have been the best song hands down.

Hollywood, Wonderful, Let love down, Blueberry kisses, Fever, Panty Party, Trigger, Future love, We could be lovers are some of my favorites.

Brooklyn Nights is cute but overrated and doesn't belong on ARTPOP.

Nothing on (but the radio) is also very overrated.

When I first heard Kendrick's PARTYNAUSEOUS demo, I thought it was bad and preferred the artRave version, but it actually grew on me.

Well, she made dance songs about depression, PTSD, SA and more, so I'm not that surprised :air:

I feel like its been years since Garibay worked with anyone as a producer/songwriter.

The last song I can find he worked on is from 2019.

I adore his work with Gaga & Kylie but part of me wonders if he's retired/pursued other interests.

The Greatest Thing is cute but some people talk it up like it would have broken chart records etc.

The reality is that it sounds dated as **** and wouldn't have been that big or aged well if officially released.
