The mastering is pushed to the limit, which makes it a painful listening experience imho. There's a remaster out there by a Japanese engineer that is much better in this regard. The dynamics are more natural and the music is improved. This current trend of pushing everything into the red is completely unbearable. The only drawback is that this remaster was generated from multi-track high-res files of the first release, and the two bonus tracks and The Dead Dance do not currently exist in this resolution. Maybe they will in the future. Do you have a link to this remaster? BELLYACHE 1,470 Posted January 9 Share Posted January 9 1- Album Photoshoot is one of her WORST photoshoots ever 2- Disease is good but instrumentals could have used different sounds cus it feels cheesy idk 3- Disease mv should have been more green and silent hill/hospital setting/AT NIGHT. 4- Abra is so cheesy but such a guilty pleasure, not even a top 20/30 Gaga song tho 5- GOE is easily the best song on the album and DESERVED EVERYTHING 6- PC could have been better with a better chorus (more singing and lengthier notes)(so riiiiiiiip offffff my faaaace in this pho tooooo graph) 6- VIY falls flat for me sorry 7- CSTH is yall trying to make a dark pop song with an underwhelming chorus. BELLYACHE 1,470 Posted January 9 Share Posted January 9 8- Killah is FUN but not my cup of tea and I’m underwhelmed that this was the Gessff collab 9- ZombieBoy is fun as well 10- TDD ruined by THAT chorus and too commercialized. 11- LoveDrug is a decent pop song and the BELTING is oooooof so good, it’s cute and could’ve easily been a single and radio would’ve eat it up, not my top 5 tho. 12- HBWDUWM only listened to it once, Gaga what are you even singing about you are Lady mf Gaga (it’s an interesting song just cus it stand out in her discog but should’ve been a bonus track) 13- DCT also listened to only half of this song then listened to the bridge once on a separate occasion. I KNOW she has much better songs in the vault but these songs are more her style so 14-SOAM a bopppp and that SHADADOW part is soul ASCENDING sorry, reminds me of the BTW again. Some of the best seconds of this album as well and def Top 5. 15- Kill for Love should’ve been on the album cus it EATTTS half of the songs on the standard sorry and it’s groovy and fun and vocalsssss. BELLYACHE 1,470 Posted January 9 Share Posted January 9 16- The Beats feels flat me for sometimes and EATS sometimes, I like it alot maybe 17- BOG is BEAUTIFUL but it should’ve been on the deluxe only as well as DWAS. 18- The abra mv is GREAT don’t get me wrong it’s just I preferred the red look in the fan made thing and some of the scenes in the fan project more than the video 19- Paris choreo is mid and too on the nose, she has a few great moments tho 20- THAT and performance of ABRA was horrendous looking and that costume was a CHOP, I decided to erase all memory of that tbh, Killah was fun and a much better performance. 21- wish we had more street looks and Gaga is veryyyy comfortable this era for good or for bad but I don’t really mind it but if I had to nit pick it would be this point but I’m just glad she’s happy and creating.
