imogen2133 134
-Abracadabra is incredibly overrated and is just a cheap attempt at another Bad Romance with weaker lyrics. -It is not nearly as good as TFM and BTW and people just say that because of its black and white cover. -Lovedrug is underrated. -Garden of eden deserved a video and Disease deserved a better video with a bigger budget. -Some of the lyrics are quite generic and do not show off her best caliber as a songwriter. -Die With A Smile should have never been added to the album and it was an obvious attempt to make the album more successful. -The Dead Dance also should have not been added to the album and it is one of her worst songs she's ever done. -Disease is the best song on the album. -Shadow Of A Man's first 10 seconds are the best part of the song and it should have been more trance/pop than funk. The most disliked songs are DTC, HBDYWM, LD & TDD, BOG which are the most generic songs on the album I remember when Disease came out how many users I'd seen on here asking for exactly that song complaining about the song. Then you see the KfL vs CSTH debate. The boring hate for Killah. And while people do like Perfect Celebrity its still beaten out by poppier songs when people talk about their faves. Plus the hate for the disease video because it wasn't cunty choreography from some corners of the fan base as well. TDD is an odd one out of the era because its hated on by everyone. The ones who wanted a heavier track and got netflix pop and the pop lovers who think its too cheesy and gothy lol. I There's definitely fans of the dark/rock ga and people do love what we got this era. You can just really see a decent chunk of the Dark/RockGa talk was just people not really understanding what that would look like as well. 59 minutes ago, Xzxcuzme said: Born this way is way darker and a much more bold album than mayhem lol Lol okay Born This Way has at best the same balance between dark and lighter songs as Mayhem. I'd say there are far fewer dark tracks. And none of the dark tracks are rock tracks either. Born This Way isn't a bold album sonically. Lyrically it is on some tracks. But the vast majority of Born This Way is just 80s nostalgia and evergreen european dance music. I understand to some nationalities that's not a common sound, but to me it wasn't a new or bold sound. It was what me, my friends & my family all listened to. The gays know how to party 1 1

Unpopular, maybe, but correct? Assuredly Kill For Love is a sweet song (much like Perfect Illusion, however, the first seven seconds make you think it's going to be a better song than it ends up being). The chorus becomes EXHAUSTING LoveDrug chorus, on the other hand? Exhilarating 💉💚 2
Sepsami 19,686
The Beast is a great f*cking song, it gives me the same vibe as The Queen which imo was also a standout on BTW 2 1
Daenerys 6,257
Vanish Into You is one of the worst songs on the album. It starts off loud and abrasive and stays completely one-note until the end when she finally stops screeching throughout the chorus. Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen 2 6 3

I genuinely feel like that would improve the song (even though I already think it's one of her best)

Exhilarating 💉💚 Nah, I think the A/B structure of the chorus is a perfect blend of powerhouse, theatrical borderline rock vocals and disco groove. LD has a great chorus, but I think the verses and pre-chorus are relatively underwhelming and, as we’ve discussed probably a million times (lol), it needs a bridge because the song feels like it basically sputters out right when it should be getting ready to soar. Gaga taking risk always impacts them because they want Gaga to be a big chart name rather than a big artist.
