There's no new season happening. Just some spin-offs planned, but not in a timeline when Gaga was recording

It has ended with this season. Besides, Gaga's songs can't be used either way since her music not from the 80s, the timeline of the series.

That song is not in any scenes of the series at all. Fans just finds emotional and thematic resonance between Djo's music and Steve's story within Stranger Things.
