Gaga Actually Should Do ARTPOP Act 2

I used to be vehemently against it and thought it was cheesy. But the times and context have changed sooooooooo much that….

 

I actually think it could work now.

 

There is this expectation because someone is getting married and having a kid that their music must become mom music but maybe this is precisely how Gaga can break the rules again:

become a mom and make the music they least expect her to. And ARTPOP already has the colorful vibes that isn’t necessarily HAVING to go down that sad route…it can just be a silly record about pop culture and the importance of art in an age of AI. Maybe an ANTI-AI pop album?

It actually wouldn’t be out of character for her to do the opposite of what people expect. And ironically, people are expecting her to pull a slower era next (I think).

 

I mean think about it! I think it would be kinda crazy if she called up Madeon (his new album is brilliant, HIGHLY SUGGEST listening to his song with Slayyyter), Zedd, and DJWS. And then maybe bring in John Summit and Peggy Gou and SG Lewis. 
 

I just think she actually could do ARTPOP ACT 2, and because of its lore, I genuinely think it might do better and also redeem her. 
 

I also think career-wise it would make sense for her to do a dance record again. Most young people (we are biased) do not see her as a dance artist anymore which is crazy. She is the Queen of Dance/Electronic. The Fame is still number one on the Billboard Dance Chart TODAY. And second place isn’t close! That’s crazzzzzy. Of the Top Ten biggest Electronic Albums of All Time, 3 of them are Gaga albums. I think she should remind people of not just her fame monster/dark roots but of her DANCEABILITY.

because they all automatically believe it's better than ARTPOP without having heard a single finished song, and how she described it as a more experimental record and how this fanbase negatively reacts to anything that's not remotely commercial

I simply don't have the energy of witnessing this website collapsing over the announcement only to then slander the lead because the music video had no choreography or no storyline or no backup dancers

even when Shallow dropped, many here instantly branded it a dud and a flop and started coming up with stupid reasons like "she ruined it with audience noises in the song, that's why the gp hates it"

Then maybe just log off GagaDaily for the first two weeks the album comes out and form your own opinion.
