Morphine Prince 107,709
Pluribus follows Albuquerque author Carol Sturka, who is one of only 13 people in the world immune to the effects of the "Joining", an event in which an extraterrestrial virus transformed the rest of humanity into a peaceful and content hive mind known as the "Others". The hive mind happily accommodates the wishes of those who remain unaffected, but admits that it will ultimately seek to assimilate them when it figures out how to do so. Carol is adamantly against their efforts as she searches for a way to reverse the Joining. Pluribus premiered on Apple TV on November 7, 2025. A second season has been ordered. The title of the series refers to e pluribus unum, the Latin motto of the United States which means 'out of many, one'. Pluribus has received acclaim from critics, with praise for Gilligan's writing and direction and Seehorn's performance, as well as the show's originality, tone, and stylistic influences. It has been nominated for two Golden Globe Awards and two Critics' Choice Awards. Discuss the show!
Morphine Prince 107,709
I've been watching this show and it's so insanely good! It's a slow burn for sure but every single episode has captivated me so far.
SevenWonder 4,487
It's SUPER slow, but also fascinating. I keep hoping for something twisty to happen, but it's clear it's more a character study on the individual v collective to some extent. Also, finding purpose in a world void of it. It's gorgeously shot, which I appreciate.
Creyk 18,064
Finally a thread. Just finished episode 7, and it looked like Carol was losing it. Not so sure she aimed that fireworks rocket to just miss her. She wasn’t living her best life with the fancy dinner, treating herself at the country club, setting off fireworks. She was breaking, lonely. Now Manousos will get her back on the mission? But Carol stopped caring as long as they can’t turn her without her consent, or so she thinks. Manousos is more hardcore like the fedayeen. He probably would have prevented her from painting her plea. Carol may go the Diabate route, maybe not command sex but more gourmet meals and champagne. She did choose the Bentley (or Rolls?) after all.
Agunimon 187
This is on my shows to watch list, but hesitant to subscribe to Apple TV just for this show since I may not like it.

bpmMonkey 6,529
Okay, where this conversation is really going to, here's mine: id let every person ive ever wondered about how they look naked come over, look at it in a non sexual way and then have them leave. I'd then visit Japan, most of the Arab states and somewhere quirky that's also cold, idk, maybe Canada up north. Have two weeks of beach day and then just join the rest and call it a day. Morphine Prince 107,709
This is apparently Apple TV‘s most watched show ever. Honestly shocked that it beat Severance.

Severance was really only ever popular with chronically online people. The press tried hard to make it stick with the normies but it never clicked.

Pluribus seems more of a mix. I think it’s the Breaking Bad fans.
