What do you expect her to do? Gaga spoke out for the trans community at the Grammy awards and endorsed the candidate who was against Trump rather than playing this can't endorse either side nonsense that Chappell Roan's naive ass pulled. As for her silence on a genocide, it's interesting how a minority of chronically online virtue signalers demand celebrities issue statements on Gaza yet couldn't care less about statements on Ukraine, Sudan, genocide of the Uyghurs in China etc. The focus of Gaga's platform has always been mainly LGBTQ rather than geopolitical issues.

Now back to the subject of this thread. There is a big difference in choosing not to speak out on certain topics as opposed to letting your music be used for the agenda of an evil administration which is why Taylor is currently getting backlash.

It's also super sad how so many people are so defensive of a celebrity to the point they believe someone should just be given a platform and millions/billions of dollars but contribute nothing to the world other than the products they sell
