MAYHEM Ball opera opening

I just saw on IG that apparently when MAYHEM is singing the opera bit (when all the bracelets become red) it’s in French and it goes « Bienvenue dans la maison du chaos. Voici le démon, que j’entretiens en moi. Entrez dans ces murs que je hante, laissez moi ôter sa vie. »

(Welcome to the haus of MAYHEM. Behold the demon I harbor within me. Enter these walls that I haunt. Let me take her life away) 

 

AND I THINK ITS F ICONIC!!! Honestly during the concert I felt I was being taken into an other dimension. It added so much to the show! 
 

My wildest dream would be to have it on TOTAL MAYHEM (rip) as the first interlude.

Is this what happens in the 2.5 hours between the doors opening and the show starting? I'm trying to avoid spoilers but also just learned that there are no opening acts (kinda weird) but the doors seem to open about 2.5 hours before the show even starts, and some nights she's late. So I'm like wtf?? Do I line up outside for 2 hours, then stand inside for 2-3 whole hours with no opener, and then the show finally starts?

No. This is when the show actually start. 2.5 hours is just her writing and writing.

Now... what the hell does that mean?    I think I've seen interlude footage of her scrawling with a feather pen. Is it just 2.5 hours of interlude-style footage?

I'm French and all I heard was "aaaaoooooaaaah". I just rewatched the video I took and that's still all I can hear

No, it's just some famous pieces of opera being played. I can remember several parts from Carmen being there. I don't know if you're aware of what's happening during that section, but there's definitely something happening. (It's not as interesting as an opening act though). The part where she writes with the feather starts at the official starting time for the show, and it goes on until she's ready I guess (and there are some ugly dissolve transitions to loop the video).
