ElectricChapelR 2,214
I was reading the Rolling Stone article again, and I can’t stop thinking about how this album feels like the end of a book, and I’m already looking forward to the next one. All of her albums and eras since The Fame feel like one long journey from the same book (not just chapters), shining a light on an individual shaped by pop culture, trying to heal. A self trying to make sense of the modern world. Each album is centered on something deeply personal. But with Mayhem, I feel like she’s stepping into the next big phase of her life. She’s healed, she found love. She’s closing that part of her story with grace, and now she’s ready to explore boundaries she couldn’t have imagined in the last twenty years. Lady Gaga is no longer a lone superhero. The way she shaped her story over the past two decades is, arguably, one of the most incredible pop-culture evolutions in modern history. The Mayhem Ball is one of the greatest art pieces of our time, and I hope that one day it will be part of the history books. I can’t wait to see what the hell she does next, because I’m sure we’re going to be surprised once again. I’m genuinely grateful to witness this 4 1
VTV 13,009
I wish she would do a Grace Jones-esque album in the future and collab with her.

Sneaky Oliver 22,321
I think we always have this kind of feeling that a closure is on the horizon and perhaps that’s because we love her so much we’re scared to “lose her” I think Gaga is very passionate about her craft and I don’t think she will ever disappear completely I do believe she might fade from the public eye a bit for the next couple of years as she prepares to become a mother and I really think she deserves it and we kind of owe her that after all the time and effort she’s put into creating this safe space for us but she will eventually come back with a bang I get that Mayhem feels like a full circle moment, but maybe in the future we will look back at her discography and think it was just a small part in something way bigger
PlastiscGuy 21,567
We've seen Gaga, we've seen Lady... We've even seen Joanne (unfortunately) — It's time for Stefani to make her comeback! PG.

SpadesToStart 3,608
Yes and no. I definitely feel like there’s a symmetry and closure to this era compared to the beginning of her career, but I think she’s also reached a level of confidence where she is just going to follow her muses. If wants to make a pop record and wear a crazy outfit (and I don’t think that urge will ever truly leave her) she will do so fearlessly, in a way that she wouldn’t have from 2014-2023. But there will also be many other adventures along the way. She’s Gaga unbound.
ThisGuyTony 31,599
For me it’s how she keeps saying things like “will you come to my show in 20 years” and “last Europe show for a very long time”

Reflecting on the last and finally landing in a healthy space doesn't mean the journey's over by any means. I remember her saying Joanne (I believe, could have been Chromatica) was "the end of the beginning of my career" and it was a popular belief that everything would change afterwards. She evolves, grows, and changes just like we do but Mayhem doesn't feel full circle to me. It just feels like the inevitable next step where she utilizes all the lessons she's learned so far to springboard further into what she's already doing. REALITY 77,931
I kinda feel like we're already there...There is an energy and excitement to her this era that we haven't seen in years. I can't quite describe it, but this already feels like a "new Gaga." She seems happier, healthier, and more passionate about music & performing than she has in a long time. She's also matured a lot and learned to separate her personal life from her professional/artistic one. I can't wait to see where she goes next!
