I find it funny considering he's from a family of immigrants, who came to the USA hoping for a better life, and he complains about immigrants who came to the USA hoping for a better life.

I don't think anyone has considered that this guy might be interested in politics, which explains his occasional appearances on the subject. I mean, he's not a well-known figure, so why would they constantly ask for his opinion and put him on TV? Gaga and her team have been very careful with her image, so if Joe weren't seeking a political position, I doubt Gaga would let him go on TV to make these comments when he's literally a nobody, just Gaga's father. But I feel like there's more to it, and usually, people who start by making political comments eventually seek a political office.

He gets TV spots purely because he is Gaga's dad. They always mention he's her dad. He's been talking about Trump on TV for years. 

I doubt Gaga can order her dad not to do something.

I find it deeply inappropriate to drag Gaga's family like this when it's none of the fanbase's business. Family is ultimately family and I just dont think it's our place to make remarks over him like this. I would absolutely hate it if people online talked about my dad this way, even if I disagreed with him in politics or anything else. I'm sure if Gaga sees any of this, she would too.

He’s a public figure. He dragged himself into the conversation. If he doesn’t want to be talked about this way, he can stop appearing on the news.
