Katy Perry’s tour is experiencing technical difficulties in Italy

A battle against technology in the truest sense of the word for Katy Perry, who framed her show as a battle against Artificial Intelligence, but tonight, at the only Italian date of her Lifetimes Tour in Bologna, she's dealing with technical issues that prevented her from entering the stage.
 
The American pop star was supposed to enter from the floor in the center of the audience and be dramatically suspended in the air on a tangle of ropes, but after the giant screens lit up at 9:00 PM sharp and started the intro, the mechanism jammed and nothing happened. Everything was therefore at a standstill for over forty-five minutes, with some messages on the giant screens warning fans of a "network error."

Sources inside the arena say the microphones were working and attendees were unfortunately able to hear Katy sing, despite several attempts to turn them off.
