I'm allowed to feel bitter towards people who don't even like her yet still go see her live when I've only been one time 11 years ago with an abusive pos who made it his mission to sabotage the night

The reason you’re not going is not her. You have to channel your anger to something else.

Im sorry but I dont think you are aware of how bitter, jealous, and entitled you are! And it seems like you think its normal and dont want to change. Its okay that you feel this way, but instead of feeling entitled and saying you have the right to feel this way, try facing yourself and try to change.

She seems unpleasant to be around and it is annoying that a true fan lost a spot to someone who seems ungrateful and hard to please.

That said, she has every right to complain about Montreal dates popping up so late into the tour when people didn't think there would be more dates. It's frustrating for TO ppl to lose spots to ppl from MTL and for MTL ppl to have to travel all the way to TO, only for there to end up being multiple dates in announced in MTL :excusemeno:

i think live music is for everyone, even if you’re not a huge fan. it’s such a powerful and uniting thing. so i believe anyone who’s interested and able to attend the tour should. that being said, unfortunately, concert tickets have just become so expensive and inaccessible that i do understand the frustration of knowing that tickets could have gone to a bigger fan, but that’s just the way it is until something changes

Honestly if they are paying for their tickets and still going even tho they dont really like her, ill still take that over ppl who are buying tickets to resell at high prices which could possibly result in empty seats if they dont sell or others to miss out on seeing her for tickets they could have afforded before the markup

I'm in Alabama and she's in Canada. She even fell through with getting me merch like she said. Like the whole situation is just bs. Actual fans should be able to go and instead it's just people who like one or two songs or some shiz. It's disheartening

Oh, ok, wait a minute.  I think I misunderstood.  I thought she bought you a ticket to come to Canada and go with her.  No?  Then, I see why you might be frustrated that she got a ticket where someone else didn't, but she didn't deserve to be gone off on.  If she promised you merch, provided you were going to reimburse her or paid ahead, that was a trash thing to do in not pulling through, but her not liking the concert is her business.

Now, had y'all gone together and she made things miserable for you, she'd be highly punchable at that point.

BTW, being in AL...could you make it to ATL next year?

She sounds like she was being really rude about it, and that is where she is in the wrong.

But in regards to the idea of fake fan vs real fan, I don’t really think that ought to be a factor in concerts. Concerts should be for everyone from the super fans down to people who may just be curious and want to be there. There’s nothing wrong with someone who is a casual fan or someone who only likes a few songs wanting to go to a show if they want.

“Real” fans (whatever that means) don’t get to gatekeep popular artists. It doesn’t work that way.

The attitudes those maybe non-fans bring with them to the show? That is certainly up for criticism.

A lady Gaga Concert Is like any concert or show. At the end of the day its Just a show you have a different night, get entertained. I can go to the circus and i mostly hate It. And of its a known im probably stealing the opportunity of Someone else Who would enjoy more. Tò that regard It ois what It Is.

Her attitude isnt great but It probably Is something that goes Beyond this experience. Id be bitter as well ahah since i didn't got my ticket and im bitter about It.

I wouldn't say "fake fan". She's a casual listener. We should be happy that Gaga's albums can cover people over different demographics rather than just gay men. So anyone is open to stream her songs and attend her concerts.

At the end of the day your friend is still contributing to The Mayhem Ball box office whether she is complaining or not.

A concert is another kind of marketing, so it is supposed to attract casual listeners and new listeners as well.

As much as you want everyone to like Gaga, some may not like her even after watching her performing live and it's fine.

But your friend sounds like someone u had to cut long time ago, she's pretty toxic, regardless of her opinions about Gaga.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Let's recognise that even though she only likes the Mayhem album, she has bought tickets to the Mayhem Ball :lolga:

It doesn't matter if she likes one song, album, or doesn't like her at all. You don't need to be a fan of someone to purchase a product they're selling (in this case concert tickets), though I would question why you'd spend that much on someone you don't like... this sense of ownership is pretty entitled.

In an ideal world all the super fans can always get tickets without fail, but it isn't.

You are allowed to feel whatever you want about the situation though!

I mean, you're allowed to feel bitter.

But it doesn't mean that it's good to feel bitter. Like, you're not even in the same country as this person. Them getting a ticket isn't the reason you couldn't get one for this tour.
