Questions about queuing etc.

Hi!

If you’ve been to a show where the floor wasn’t seated, I’d like to know a few things:

- which ticket type did you have?

- how early did you go to the venue/what was you number in line? 

- which spot/row did you get?

For CBT, I think we waited like an hour before doors opened, and managed to get next to the piano section of the stage (left side) which I was happy with - my ticket was just general admission

Show up three days out with a change of clothes, a bottle to pee in, a backpack full of snacks, and the will to bite whoever tries to butt you in line

I had an early entry GA ticket for The Chromatica Ball & I got there at 4am & was 4th row main stage right at the center

So I usually aim to get there for when doors open if I have general entry tickets and I'm normally within about 5 rows of people from the barrier after stopping to grab a t shirt/merch. 

As for the numbering thing - unless the venue is numbering you, the numbers have no meaning and the venue won't respect them. It is a very rare thing for the venue to do much in the way of numbering folks who turn up early - they don't like people who turn up early and do what they can to discourage it.

I've only done GA once, I stood out in the rain for 8 hours and sprinted to the side of the stage when the doors opened  

Managed to be right by the piano at the Super Saturday Night show

And I thought it will be easy now that I got early entry for my first show, guess I’ll be sleeping there. I also haven’t yet decided if I want to be on the side of the catwalk or closer to the main stage

Okay! I’m used to queuing from about 9am for big shows like this so I’ll go early anyway.

You’re right about the numbers, they unfortunately often don’t matter that much, but in the bigger picture they do tell something about your spot in the line

Yeah I had early entry from TCB and even early entry people camped out for days and days, making the rest of us have to come earlier too

I went to the Addison show recently and stood, we didn’t have to go super early or anything because we bought the VIP package which guarantees early entry into the venue so we could relax get out goody bags and chill before they let us in. me and my friends got to be right at the front of the stage

I only wish the golden pit/floor in the EU were "seated", does anyone know why it is not?
