Amen Fashion 1,135
Gaga is classy. She doesn´t discount her songs. I mean not even her first song Just Dance is discounted. Though´some songs could be discounted like Judas. Would be a big jump for the song. :)
Robotboy 1,700
she should discount her songs and albums after a while, but not in the beginning like the born this way album.. :fail: Remember that you are unique. Like everyone else.
Amen Fashion 1,135
she should discount her songs and albums after a while, but not in the beginning like the born this way album.. that was amazon. Why not ? She got like 400.000 sales more and who cares. I mean it´s not like Interscope has a damage of that. I think it was amazing because so many people, who maybe wanted to download it illegally just downloaded it from amazon btw in a few years we´ll just have 99 ct albums :toofunny:
Liam Germanotta 3
Thanks for the explanation, violetbandit. Yes Americano, that's how the charts work over here - people are not used to a song starting somewhere in the back of the Top 100 and then growing until it finally reaches Top 10. Most of the (successful) songs enter at a high position. Germans were used to very high entry positions of Gaga, as I stated. I even can remember the presenter of a chart show (Collien on VIVA) who commented on the #4 entry position of Alejandro: "Well, actually Gaga is used to higher entry positions than #4!" ... and I just thought OMG darling, #4 is great! Yes Amen Fashion, I am also very proud of this record. (It counts for the current century, I think.) Actually I sometimes don't get why in Germany Interscope or whatever label is distributing her music here don't register the songs for the charts even before the physical CD is released - best example Judas, that would definitely have gone into German Top 20 as it was in iTunes Top 10! Short German MTN update for 12/14/2011: iTunes #34 (37) Musicload #25 (25) Amazon #21 (20) MediaMarkt #17 (14) Edited December 14, 2011 by Lana
