Monsta217 218 Posted yesterday at 12:01 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:01 AM I personally do not think it is her best song because she has many more that I adore. But, it is, by far, the most "Gaga" song she has. The music, the vocals, the lyrics, the weirdness, the fierceness, the "out there". And the first full taste of what was to come later... The RahRah is like the chant that gave birth to the beast, to the Monster, to Mother Monster... I never followed mainstream music, I didnt care, I didnt even know who Gaga was, and I still vividly remember when I heard part of it for the first time, I was in the subway, and someone was playing it on their phone, and I remember my first reaction when I heard that chant... I was like "wtf is that? Wtf is wrong with music nowadays", I can even say I hated it at first... but deep down, I was intrigued and I couldnt get it out of my head... so a few days later I decided to sit down, listen to it in full, listen to more stuff by this weird girl that had this weird deep voice... and here I am, 15 years later, as obsessed as I was back then... I could be a pie for your zombie bite.... 1

Something about it sounds very quiet/mono/radio Like a poem said by a neydy in red

The production on that song is nothing like what was on at the time, and that's what makes it so special. I think most hits from the time aged amazingly, unlike hits from 2012-2016
Gagaism 11,695 Posted yesterday at 02:01 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:01 AM The thing that gets me the most is to think that such a young woman at age of 23(?) being able to put such great work out there… every detail, from the song to the MV and the performances… only a couple of great GREAT minds would be actually capable do something like that, it’s just not for everyone.

Unpopular opinion but I think overall The Fame Monster singles deserved much better performances. Especially Telephone, oh my god and I think Alejandro only had one TV perf? I agree but like, Telephone would be actually impossible thinking about when we look back then, I mean, they NEVER performed it together to this day, which is a shame and iconic at the same time lol but anyways, whatever we had was perfectly delivered, especially when it comes to visuals
Awrah999 4,304 Posted yesterday at 02:13 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:13 AM I mean it’s one of the greatest songs ever written. I think I played it so much that I actually prefer Judas these days though if I’m honest. And I think Gaga did actually top it with Abracadabra. But it’s still a masterpiece and Gaga’s most iconic song. It’s literally flawless.

Vimo 999 Posted yesterday at 03:19 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:19 AM Also, it's a complex song. There's so many parts to that song you're always on your toes. Oh oh oh's Then rah rah rah's Verse 1 Pre-chorus Chorus Oh oh oh's Rah rah rah's Verse 2 Pre chorus Chorus Oh oh oh's Rah rah rah's 2 times Bridge one Bridge two Explosive Chorus Oh oh's Rah rah rah's A 2 minutes song can't give you that. princedeeblebleble 1,573 Posted yesterday at 04:35 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:35 AM I'd have to agree it's her most iconic song. She completely changed the pop game with this and 16 years later it still sounds as new, fresh and crazy as it did back in the day! Like her mind to kind of finish the fame era with that Paparazzi death preformance to reseruct herself in those coffins in the bathouse wad *chefs kiss*
Monstermilo 4,481 Posted yesterday at 06:21 AM Share Posted yesterday at 06:21 AM everything about that song EXCEPT the rah rah rah ooh la la part is amazing before i didnt mind it, but now the random gibberish lyrics bother me. its like using random noises to make up for a lack of actual lyrics. and in some of her songs i dont mind it, but for some reason on BR its so irritating to me
