Exposing private conversations to rile up her followers is petty. She's also assuming that Sevdaliza created the look when there's probably a whole team behind it. I get why Arca feels like she’s copying them, and it’s not just in the visual the user posted above, but even Sevdaliza’s whole musical direction lately is so questionable. like, you’re dutch Iranian and you wanted to work with Arca - they refused bcs Twigs asked them- so you will start making Spanish music ? Reggaeton? Really? Why? That has nothing to do with you nor where u come from. And yes; As an artist you can draw inspiration from anywhere, but 1+1=2, and it’s clear Sevdaliza just tried to take a bit too much inspiration from Arca (and stalking his producers/collaborators). If you were confident in your own work, you wouldn't see anyone as competition or copycats, because you wouldn't be interested.
