These projects are mostly made for fun, more casual. That doesn't really mean low expectations though. Sometimes it can be viewed as a sneak peek or an easy-listen quick guide to an artist's artistry. That's what I interpreted. Love in Real Life and Still Bad are both pretty boring singles so I just assume that her label think her new material is not good enough to shake off all the controversy.
