No one, even Trump knows what he thinks in any 5 minutes tbh. But as for China, they may use this moment of American distraction to make some territorial pushes in the South China Sea - depending on how this conflict unfolds they may even make a full push for Taiwan. But tbh, I think it's unlikely they'll get their hands dirty. China's preferred method is political takeovers from within, they could use this moment to push Taiwan away from American influence as a result. And will certainly seek to do so in Korea.
