Big chances for Gaga here, her cover arts always have such an iconic feel about them. I just hope it doesn't become a way for mediocre artists to get a Grammy nomination just because they got a good art director though. And if it's your only win, because it's nothing to do with music, will most people even technically consider you a Grammy winner? Like: "Haha, the only Grammy you ever won was for something completely unconnected to your actual music!" But at the very least, it means we're in for more interesting covers in future because they've been pretty boring for a while now. And contemporary country being recognised is really good as Kacey Musgraves got really overlooked for Star Crossed considering it was very country pop and was considered too pop for country categories and too country for pop categories. I'm surprised a fusion field hasn't been introduced as music isn't always defined in a neat box but the Grammys have always liked black and white definitions unfortunately. Seeing it like this- uncropped, next to all the other options... it stands out as the most instantly memorable visual imo. But different strokes for different folks.
