Can someone explain how she can score a #1 with less streams than Gaga got on Abracadabra? I feel like #1's are truly bought today and hardly organic.

Well if fhey bothered with physicals and everything like they did with DWAS Abra would have neen #1  Disease probably as well if they didn't pay it dust.

for the Hot 100 only streams from the US count, not global. Sabrina had over 3.3M on US Spotify on day 1 and already has over 6.5M in 3 days from Spotify only + her song is in the top 10 on the US Apple Music.

They could've done CDs an orange 7-inch vinyl for Abracadabra, we have the piano version from Howard Stern, a Gesaffelstein remix and an instrumental. And I say Orange because the Mayhem vinyls dont have an orange.

Disease couldve benefitted from a physical release too, make it glow in the dark like the Bloody Mary vinyl, could be green or purple. Disease could have had a higher peak as well, prior to Thanksgiving and Christmas. There's the original version of Disease, an Instrumental, Antidote Version, Poison Version.

 

On Topic: Congrats to Sabrina and her success, I may not listen to her music but clearly she's the new beloved pop girl.

probably because they did it for past singles and realised it didn't move much of a needle. I'm guessing DWAS was different because it was already #2 so they figured they could nudge it a bit with some physicals, but idk
