I had thought of perhaps having a transparent curtain going around the GA standing area that would allow for projection onto it from suspended projectors, meaning that at various points, the entire stadium could change into something else, but at the same time, it would never restrict anyone's view. Jesus, can you imagine? Gaga turns a whole stadium into a flaming pit of hellfire and brimstone accompanied by a lazer show for something like Judas, and then goes on to hit the crescendo of a piano moment (like when the piano set on fire at TMB during Speechless) and the entire arena floods with colour or flames... OMG! I'm having such brainwaves. The interludes would be amazing. A YUYI INTERLUDE! She can swim around an entire stadium! Goodness me. I'd also like a crane arm for Gaga to travel on, playing piano or keytar or something, so everyone gets that momentary close up of her. drinkmytears 2,332 Posted February 21, 2013 Share Posted February 21, 2013 Basically I think that this tour should be in the round, and I think she should play more arenas since it'll be hard to sellout the same stadiums. So many people have seen her that won't have the money or time to go again. A large amount of people won't have interest to see her twice, or may not have liked the show. If she does a few more arena tours, then does a huge stadium tour, I think that'll look better overall. She can still make as much, arena shows tend to cost a lot more and she could do multiple nights-more fans would go to 3 nights in one city than multiple shows hours away from where they live. The stage should be in the round, incorporating the whole audience, but it shouldn't just be a small platform in the middle. There can still be monsterpits, and multiple catwalks. There could be a ramp so setpieces can still be pushed up onstage...the Born This Way Ball didn't have many props or sets like the Monsterball, and it was still an amazing show. The entire stage could be paneled with LED screens, she could also have screen lifts like Madonna, or Kanye West/Jay Z. Beyoncés superbowl stage incorporated the screens on the floor as well as upright screens, when it raised from the ground. She could have different set pieces to take her above stage level, as Gaga has never used that in any of her shows. Screens could hang from the ceiling and there could also be curtain/screens. The band could be below stage level, like an orchestra pit, and come up and down on lifts for different parts of the show... Imagine if almost the entire floor was a stage, with small pits for Little Monsters (you could actually buy a Monsterpit ticket, instead of having to camp). She could still have a keyholder as many fans didn't get that chance with this tour ending so "soon". VIP packages could bring fans closer to the stage, and if they had the right security fans could even be a part of the stage and the show! It would be a lot easier to sellout an arena, and 21st century technology would amaze people. She's already done a really theatrical Broadway style show (BTWB), what about adding a more futuristic/rave element to her tours? OMG @ the amount of ugly stages. I made this, but imagine it in an arena instead of a stadium! The show would still be partially in the round, the seats behind (not the black ones, those are blocked off) would be available for less than $50. The transparent screens would go around the circular runway, and in between the mainstage and circular runway is an orchestra pit for the band. Those little lines are bridge runways, I kind of want the stage to evolve throughout the show instead of the whole stage right at the beginning. Most of the show would be performed on the runway and the bstage, the runway is a screen and the bstage has a turntable/screen lift. The pit for the band would rise for the piano part of the show, which I think should be pretty long as people love it. Speechless (Acoustic) Hair (Acoustic) The Queen (Acoustic) Princess Die Yoü and I The smaller runways would mainly be used for the dancers, and as you can see there are 2 VIP pits. Use the screens to create an environment, whether it is all Pop Art, surfaces, or actual video backdrops. I think that maybe some steps on it could work in cool ways too. Blue is a slightly raised, about 15ft raised. Pink is raised again about another 25ft raised from the blue section. Brown is the path to the Piano B-stage... stole this idea from someone else... i ADORE the idea of the piano section being right in the middle of the audience... so intimate. This is at the same level as the main stage. All of the Stage walls are covered in LCD screens... for a truly dynamic performance with video backdrops and stuff... and some beyonce style duplications with POP ART... the floors are covered with fibreoptic lights which colours can be controlled by the lighting board. Their will be far too much to look at. I'm pretty sure she wants everyone to focus on her and not the stage flooring. I'm all for a video backdrop but thats about as far as it goes for me.
