It's bizarre. This song wasn't even that huge amongst other K-pop fans. The mass-streaming effort for it has been obvious since day one.

These are fraudulent streams from bots.  
Their songs chart high on Spotify charts in random countries such as Belarus, Chile, Paraguay, Latvia.

Excuse me, chile is not a random country, is the country with most listeners around the world, santiago appears in a lot of top 5 cities on spotify artists profiles, chile is literally in the top 5 listeners of lady gaga

i said random because there is no other kpop act on chart and his song is #1 with over 250k streams in Chile

Spotify has also charts for some cities and Jimin's song doesn't even chart in Santiago despite having #1 song in Chile:

it just doesn't make sense as well as the fact that he has less than 8M monthly listeners but his song gets over 90M streams every month.
