Yeah, I don't know how it works. Do you just write a song first and then decide what you're going to do with it ? Or do you decide first what you want to do, e.g. vanish into the crowd during concerts, and then write a  song that fits?

Doesn't matter though. Just a great song.

Vanish into you is THAT song! I love it sooooo much. I still don’t know if it makes me happy or sad when I listen to it. The lyrics can sort of go both ways.

Garden Of Eden and Vanish Into You both have such radio ready choruses, but Vanish Into You does have a bit of a Kelly Clarkson/P!nk 2011 pop-rock vibe during the chorus that I think people would love, including radio DJs. I think Garden Of Eden, however, is more bubblegum and has a very The Fame-Gaga/Timbaland feel to it, which I also people and the radios would love.

I say Vanish next to ride off the hype on social media, and GOE as an end of summer single is a bit of a poppier choice

Hear me out: Lovedrug

She hasn’t been performing it, so a big release would feel like a *new* song. We know how short the General public’s attention span is, and if they’ve already been listening to a song, they aren’t going to get excited about it 2 months later. Lovedrug is my pick. Everyone can relate to wanting someone so badly it feels like a need, but you know it’s bad for you. And it’s got such an ear worm.

There’s something about VIY that reminds me so much of ARUTW but with more of a beat. It’s sooooo grand and epic like that. It’s a hit waiting to happen.

Conflicting feelings, VIY sounds amazing, is distinctive and reminds me of my dad and where we spread his ashes. Definitely summer vibes and I’d like it to be a single. With that said, I think it would compete with DWAS in terms of sound. 
 

HBDUWM sounds summery and in line with Teenage Dream, Call Me Maybe, Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter songs that have dominated previous summers. It’d also garner a lot of goodwill with the public and be something that could slay effortlessly without a ton of promo. I feel a song like this as the next single would garner enough good will for Gaga to be able to slay more easily with future singles after. I could see her doing HBDWM for summer and then late August/ September do VIY. Assuming she doesn’t have another song in mind that goes with Wednesday S2 for Halloween.
