Ellie Goulding launches mushroom business as she embraces fungi

Ellie Goulding is set to release the first steps of her new business venture, in which the Herefordshire-born star will be selling powdered mushrooms.

Speaking to The Times, Goulding revealed that she has created a new business selling a product to promote "focus, relaxation and better skin".

“I knew I wanted to work with mushrooms for a long time,” Goulding said from her studio, where she is working on a new album. “I’ve been taking mushrooms for a long time.”

The "functional mushrooms" business, Everystate, will sell pouches of powdered fungi, which can be consumed when mixed with water or milk.
The company will mainly seek to sell monthly online subscriptions, starting at £36, which provide customers with 200g of powder for a month. 

It was during her musical hiatus that Goulding "embraced funghi", after struggling with anxiety.

According to the business's website, they offer natural solutions through the "power of mushrooms" to help improve focus, energy, and to "create a space for calm".
