My straight cop neighbor playing, AND SINGING, "Venus" in his backyard . Technically not a "public space", but certainly the last place I expected to find GaGa's music . I traumatized him playing ARTPOP non-stop . 

And then recently a new gossip show premiered in here, and for whatever reason on the first week the host would make her entrance with GaGa songs. She used "Bad Romance" on her debut, and then "Alejandro" the next day, I think she's probably a fan (RANGE, because that woman is a conservative-leaning middle aged woman, GaGa getting all the demographics ). Not really "weird songs", but unusual to see them featured so prominently on national TV, as they're not current hits anymore. 

And not GaGa related, but the oddest song I ever heard played on a public space ever, was "October" by Evanescence on a shopping mall . It was playing very loudly, and not only it's a very weird choice to play on a mall, is not even an album track. It's a super obscure, unreleased demo. Not the goth intern coming through with the outtakes for the normies, I can't.

I would say "stream October on Spotify", but the song isn't available for streaming .

i dk if this technically counts, but i was watching a youtube video of a couple that thrifts at various stores and i very faintly heard sine from above in the background playing at the goodwill they were in. then it was followed up by a stevie nicks or fleetwood mac song (it was too hard to identify but i know stevie's vocals anywhere). i was so giddy i had to leave a comment pointing it out! lol
