Truthfully, I don't believe AOC would win and I'm still pulling for Kamala's return and the "now lemme give you a chance to fix the mess you made" tour. MOT 3,647 Posted April 16, 2025 Share Posted April 16, 2025 There's just gonna be an election, and the GOP will nominate a candidate, and it won't be Trump coz he can't do three terms, and the Dems will nominate a candidate, and there'll be a campaign and speeches and stuff, and then everyone who wants to vote will go out and vote, and then they'll count the votes, and whoever gets the most votes will be the winner, and then everyone will live happily ever after. Looking back, I think Shapiro was the better VP pick too. She was scared of turning off leftists but they weren't gettable anyway. Remorse over electing Trump over her, a better (and more popular) VP pick from the most important swing state, and largely freed from the perceived failure of the Biden administration? She'd also have to go through the Democratic primary. A lot of people felt she was "anointed" candidate, which was ridiculous but whatever. The big thing here is that AOC, though she would be my choice, is too polarising. Harris appeals to the centre because she's literally been in law & order, the authority. AOC is seen as a lefty crazy, although her position globally would be centre. You guys are cooked. Trump will cause riots around election time, call martial law & remain.
