I really hope Kamala sticks around. She's a fantastic leader, even if she doesn't decide to run for office again.

Truthfully, I don't believe AOC would win and I'm still pulling for Kamala's return and the "now lemme give you a chance to fix the mess you made" tour.

I'll vote for anyone with a D next to their name though :icant:

There's just gonna be an election, and the GOP will nominate a candidate, and it won't be Trump coz he can't do three terms, and the Dems will nominate a candidate, and there'll be a campaign and speeches and stuff, and then everyone who wants to vote will go out and vote, and then they'll count the votes, and whoever gets the most votes will be the winner, and then everyone will live happily ever after.

I like that she’s at least trying to create the platform for 2028 but I don’t think she’s interested.

Also Gavin Newsom makes me giggle. “Mama a demon behind you” ahh Democrat. But still, I do wonder how far the bastard can get. :ladyhaha:

This could have been said about Trump. Look who's president.

She will have time to break from Biden which was poison for her campaign.

To be fair. Donald failed and then succeeded 4 years later…

Looking back, I think Shapiro was the better VP pick too. She was scared of turning off leftists but they weren't gettable anyway.

Remorse over electing Trump over her, a better (and more popular) VP pick from the most important swing state, and largely freed from the perceived failure of the Biden administration?

She'd also have to go through the Democratic primary. A lot of people felt she was "anointed" candidate, which was ridiculous but whatever.

She'd definitely have a stronger position and Trump's successor would be terribly weak trying to get elected on carrying on his policies but having none of his cult appeal.

I actually think Walz was a great choice but the Harris campaign muzzled him. It was a mistake.

Kamala Harris is INSANELY POPULAR the world over. I cannot tell you how badly we wanted her to win for you guys. Maybe she did.

The big thing here is that AOC, though she would be my choice, is too polarising. Harris appeals to the centre because she's literally been in law & order, the authority. AOC is seen as a lefty crazy, although her position globally would be centre.

You guys are cooked. Trump will cause riots around election time, call martial law & remain.

Though I hope his heart gives out.
