MountainMonster 784
Hmmm…. I’m not a fan. Makes me sleepy and bored. But glad y’all are digging it.
tomsches 17,412
Another great song by Lana. I‘m just not sure about the chorus cause it reminds me too much of both Brooklyn Baby and Coachella - Woodstock in my mind. MountainMonster 784
Circling back now that it’s released in full… can confirm I really hate it. And after tumbling down a deep dive of her discography, I’ve learned I only like Summertime Sadness. I’m sort of bummed that I just can’t get into her. Luv u Sum 2,391
probably not going to listen to this much until the album comes out but just like almost every song she's released, it's gorgeous and pleasant to listen to

(and i personally wouldn't rank this song as one of the highlights. i like it, it's just far from her best imo, which is ok, she has some really amazing tracks it's hard to keep one-upping yourself each time)
Plastic Flower 5,065
I’ve struggled to fully connect to her albums since Blue Banisters so I didn’t expect to like this. I’m still waiting for the album, I know I’ll like at least a couple of tracks. Drop it
StrawberryBlond 14,881
Love it, it's just a mild country vibe, but it still has Lana's style written all over it. That chorus is glorious, so sad and beautiful. The phrase: "Yesterday, I heard God say 'you were born to be the one to hold the hand of the man who flies too close to the sun'" will be on every gen z's social media for sure. The swell of the instrumentation after that line just send shivers all over me. Still serving on album #9, she's a real one.
